The key to success in global business lies in “people” and “dialogue.” As globalization accelerates and becomes increasingly complex, sustainable growth requires not only international expansion, but also leaders and talent with a global mindset. At GLORAKU, we offer integrated strategies for global talent development and communication that drive real business outcomes.
You want to take on the world — but language and cultural barriers stand in your way. As a CEO, you can’t afford to lose face or fall short on results. You’re caught in the tension of wanting both.
Driven by growing inbound demand and international business expansion, you’re actively hiring global talent. However, challenges are already emerging — your HR framework and communication strategies are not yet fully leveraging the power of a diverse workforce.
As an Asia-based global company, you’re expanding your business in Japan. Yet, management and communication barriers are affecting your organization’s overall performance. Your expatriates are also struggling — with team building and with helping their families adapt.
You want to become a leader who thrives in a global company. But language and cultural barriers stand in your way. How can you overcome them and truly shine?

We provide integrated support for companies entering the Japanese market and expanding internationally, addressing market, talent, organizational, cultural, and communication challenges. Depending on each client’s needs, our services include market research and strategic advisory, localization, talent and cultural integration in M&A and global expansion, media and internal/external communication strategies to support business growth, and systems for attracting, retaining, and developing global talent.
We provide coaching for executives, global leaders, expatriates, and internationally minded professionals to help them perform effectively in cross-cultural environments. Programs are tailored to individual needs and may address cross-cultural communication, leadership, career transitions, conflict management, and effective dialogue—strengthening adaptability and leadership effectiveness in global settings.
We design training programs that build cross-cultural understanding, global leadership, and stronger collaboration among people and teams from diverse cultural backgrounds. Programs may cover country-specific business cultures, cross-cultural management and communication, multicultural team building, collaboration across remote and global teams, and inclusive leadership. MBTI® and DiSC® may also be incorporated where appropriate to support practical learning and application.
We support expatriates, international assignees, and their families in adapting smoothly to new cultural and living environments and thriving through international transitions. Services may include pre- and post-assignment cross-cultural orientation, communication support, adaptation support for spouses and children, stress management and resilience, repatriation and reverse-culture adjustment, and career and life-design support for accompanying spouses and partners.
We offer practical mindfulness programs for individuals and organizations, applying mindfulness to leadership, communication, cross-cultural adaptation, and wellbeing. Programs include Mindfulness Basics, Mindful Leadership, Mindful Listening, and Mindful Communication, as well as practices designed to reduce stress, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable wellbeing. Programs can be tailored to different audiences and organizational needs.

Covered and wrote on Japanese politics and economics, business management, organizations, and global talent
After studying in Taiwan and the U.S., and gaining business experience in Europe, the U.S., and Hong Kong, I relocated to Japan in 2002 due to family reasons. Entering the high-context Japanese society was a major culture shock — both in daily life and the workplace. I faced significant language barriers and learned Japanese from scratch.
However, these differences sparked my curiosity. I began to ask, “How can we bridge cultural gaps?” and “How can communication between people and companies become smoother to bring out each other’s best?”
Motivated by these questions, I pursued certifications in coaching, personality assessments, and global HR management, and have been deeply studying cross-cultural communication from both individual and organizational perspectives. I’ve held leadership roles in both Japanese and foreign-affiliated companies, and as the spouse of an expatriate, I also experienced the family-related challenges before, during, and after overseas assignments.
These diverse experiences have strengthened my desire to help others overcome cultural barriers.
Today, globalization among Japanese companies is accelerating, and many Asia-based multinationals — especially in tech and semiconductors — are expanding into Japan. But with cultural intersections come inevitable misunderstandings and friction.
At GLORAKU, we help transform such differences and confusion into sources of strength and joy. We aim to be your best partner on your global journey.
